The Warlock is the fifth installment of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott. My favorite part was when Nicholas destroyed the Lotan, though the whole book was very good. It starts off as John, Josh, and Virginia are rushing out of a burning building. After they escape they drive a boat to Alcatraz to let loose a ton of monsters. First they let loose the Lotan to scare all the civilians, but Nicholas, Perenelle, Niten, and Prometheus destroy it. While they are doing that Sophie is trying to make Josh go on their side but they end up falling into a Shadowrealm! I am looking forward to the 6th book in this series, which is scheduled to be published sometime next spring.-Review by Tate
