Gamer Girl

Gamer Girl is about a girl named Maddy who depends on her video game to escape from her awful, unfair life after her parents divorced and they move to New Hampshire. But who could blame her? For on the first day of school her grandma, who is obsessed with unicorns, made Maddy wear her clothes because she didn't think Maddy's own clothes were appropriate. To make matters worse, her grandma drives her to school and walks her into the main office. So that is the tragic story of how she became "Freak Girl." Everyday things get worse, her dad lets her down, she argues with her mom, her eight-year-old sister has a better social life than her and her old friends forget about her. But things start to look up, or do they?
