Teen Summer Reading Program Review!
Middle school, the worst years of my life: Author: Patterson, James, 1947- Publisher: New York : Little, Brown, 2011. Edition: 1st U.S. ed.
"I give this two thumbs up, 5 stars, and a 10 out of 10 on a rating scale!. This is one of Patterson's less serious novels, but it is definitely fun and entertaining. In this book you will learn about the main character, Rafe Khatchadorian, who finds his own way of getting through 6th grade. He plays a game he made up called operation R.A.F.E. (which stands for 'Rules Aren't For Everyone'). There is only one rule [of his game]: He has to break every rule in his school's code of conduct. It does not go as smoothly as he wishes but he still ends the year with a bang. There are other characters like Rafe's best friend Leo the Silent, Rafe's soon to be step father Carl (AKA "Bear"), his not so secret crush, his enemy Miller, and more.Learn more about Rafe, operation R.A.F.E., his school year, all of these characters and more in James Patterson's Middle School, the Worst Years of My Life.Maybe even check out other books by James Patteson!"
