Summer reading program review!
The field guide: Author: DiTerlizzi, Tony. Publisher: New York : Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2003.
"This review is based on the book 'Spiderwick chronicles #1: The Field Guide'. The characters Mallory, Jared, and Simon are like any average siblings. They moved into their uncle Arthur Spiderwick's old house and find this rope-line elevator that leads to Arthur Spiderwick's library. When the children find their uncle's field guide, they learn alot about faeries and mythical creatures. This book's genre is fantasy. When goblin's come and try to attack them , Mallory's fashion of fencing comes in handy. I recommend this book to anyone that loves fantasy. So fight alongside with these brave children and also read the other books that are in the series. Out of five stars this book gets a three because there isn't a ton of action."-by Neel
Thanks, Neel!
